MONTGOMERY, AL. (THECOUNT) – Multiple people have been shot and injured, one fatally, following a shooting in Montgomery, Alabama on Thursday night, according to the Montgomery Police Department.
MPD Sgt. Jarrett Williams says five people overall were shot in the incident. Three suffered life-threatening injuries while one suffered non life-threatening injuries.
The shooting happened in the 800 block of N University Drive near the campus of Alabama State, reports WSFA.
The shooting is still under investigation. Check back for updates.
