Longtime Nola Q93.3 Radio Host CJ ‘Superstar’ Morgan Dies In New Orleans Hospice Facility

NEW ORLEANS, LA. (THECOUNT) — Longtime New Orleans Q93.3 radio host, CJ Morgan, died Wednesday night, according to local reports Thursday.

‘Superstar‘ Morgan, had been suffering from health issues since May 2015, according to reports.

According to iHeartMedia, Morgan had suffered multiple strokes over the years and a heart attack, which placed him in hospice care, reports WDSU.

Morgan was a radio host for 17 years on Q-93.

A GoFundMe account has been erected for Superstar’s hospice care and funeral expenses.

CJ was #1 for over a decade in NOLA on Q93. In 2005, was undergoing extensive treatment as he attempted to recover his ability to walk and speak.
