“@StephanieSimoni: Several agencies looking for the man who shot & killed another man.
Then, shot New Haven Capt. Anthony Duff many times. Duff survived.
An officer told me the FBI, ATF, CT State Police, Orange PD, West Haven PD, & East Haven PD are all on scene. @WTNH”

Captain Duff called out over the radio for backup after the shots were fired. Other officers were on the scene just moments later, and were able to apply life-saving tourniquets before medical emergency crews arrived and transported Duff to the hospital.
