LOXAHATCHEE, FL. (THECOUNT) — Marcia Maria Thompson has been identified as the woman taken into custody over the the death of her husband, Terry Thompson, in Loxahatchee, Florida on Friday.
Terry Thompson, 52, was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound while inside his residence, located at, 18769 Murcott Blvd in Loxahatchee, FL, after 6 a.m. Friday morning.

After further investigation of this morning’s homicide, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office detectives determined probable cause to arrest Marcia Maria Thompson in connection with her husband’s death.
Detectives are in the process of transporting the suspect to the Palm Beach County Jail, where she will be booked for investigation of second-degree murder and held on no bond. She will attend her first court appearance Saturday, Aug. 10, reports WPBF.
Terry Thompson was pronounced dead on the scene of gunshot injuries.
Investigators with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office took the wife into custody. Charges were not yet filed.
