NASHVILLE, TN. (THECOUNT) — Police and fire officials are investigating after a gasoline explosion in a Nashville hotel sent several to the hospital with critical injuries.
The incident occurred inside a hotel room located next to Nashville BNA International Airport Sunday evening.

Breaking911 reported: Witnesses say there was a loud boom and saw a man running down the hall who was burned.
Four people went to the hospital, including one person received third degree burns and is in critical injuries. They say a couple gallons of gasoline exploded in the room.
According to WSMV, witnesses said the ‘force from the blast was so powerful, it blew out windows and bent the railing.’
It was unclear why the resident had gasoline in the room to begin with.
