TIFT COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Anthony Bateman, the Tift County football and basketball coach, has died of a sudden heart attack Saturday, according to reports.
Jonathan Judy, Chief Technology Innovation Officer for Tift County schools said, Bateman suffered a heart attack on Saturday around 4:30 p.m. during a basketball tournament in South Tifton.
