KROTZ SPRINGS, LA. (THECOUNT) – Louisiana fisherman, Leroy Andrus, reeled in a massive Alligator Gar fish while angling the floodgates in the Atchafalaya River just past Krotz Springs.
Armed with his trusty rod and reel, Andrus hauled in the massive “sea monster” while fishing in a St. Landry Parish waterway, reports WAFB on Monday.
In the photo, the beak of the gar was a full head above his new owner.
