DUNDALK, MD. (THECOUNT) — John H. Schell, of Sparrows Point, Maryland, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in Baltimore County Sunday night, according to officials.
Schell, 61, died following a motorcycle crash on the inner loop of I-695 in Dundalk on Sunday night.
According to reports, Schell was operating a motorcycle on I-695 near North Point and Merritt Boulevard around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, when for unknown reasons, his bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway.
The motorcycle then traveled up an embankment and collided with a pole, reports CBSLocal.
Schell was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, Maryland State Police said.
