MIDDLETON TOWNSHIP, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Andrei Chichkine, of Union City, NJ, has been identified as the victim whose lifeless body was discovered on a beach in Sandy Hook Wednesday, according to Middletown police Friday.
Chichkine, 61, was found Wednesday afternoon at Sandy Hook “F” beach, according to police. Chichkline’s death is not considered suspicious, however, police declined to provide a cause of death.
Family members and friends took to Facebook to remember the beloved man:
“As many of you know we lost our beloved husband, father and friend Andrei on Wednesday, July 24th, 2019. A Memorial Service will be held at the Russian Orthodox Cathedral of Transfiguration of Our Lord at 228 North 12th Street, Brooklyn, NY (Williamsburg) this Sunday, July 28th at 10:30am. A reception will follow. Please contact Marina’s sister, Yelena at yelenageorge@yahoo.com, if you would like to share a memory at the service.”
