FRESNO, CA. (THECOUNT) — Gustavo Blanco has been identified as the DUI suspect responsible for a fatal crash in southeast Fresno Saturday night.
Blanco, 31, is accused of running a red light at Kings Canyon Road and Maple Avenue, slamming his car into another car. The driver of the other car died and has not been identified.
The passenger of the other vehicle remains at Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition, but stable, reports YourCentralValley.
Blanco is charged with felony vehicular manslaughter.
“The at fault driver was found to be under the influence and charged with felony vehicular manslaughter and felony DUI,” says Fresno Police Lt. Bill Dooley.
He was booked in Fresno County Jail.
