Bounty Hunter Beth Chapman Dead At 51

HONOLULU, HI. (THECOUNT) — Beth Chapman, who along with her husband, Duane “Dog” Chapman, appeared for years on the iconic show, “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” is dead.

Beth died Wednesday at a Honolulu hospital, days after being placed in a medically-induced coma. She had battled long and hard against cancer, which ultimately took her life, reports TMZ Wednesday morning.

Duane “Dog” Chapman shared a touching photo from his wife Beth’s hospital bedside on Monday.

Chapman posted the image to Twitter depicting his wife’s arm which appears to be hooked up to an IV.

The photo shows her well manicured nails, as well as a bandage, hospital bracelet and some type of wrapping, reports KDVR.

“You all know how she is about HER NAILS !!,” the tweet read.

Beth Chapman known for her Hawaii bounty hunting and bail bonds business along with her husband, “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” has been admitted to the ICU at the Queen’s Medical Center and is in a medically-induced coma, Duane and his family said in a statement Saturday.

In a statement Saturday, Dog said he and his family “humbly ask everyone to please pray for Beth.”

The family also sent their “sincere thanks to everyone for their prayers throughout Beth’s battle with cancer.”

Duane Dog Chapman via Twitter:

@DogBountyHunter: Please say your prayers for Beth right now thank you love you

Beth Chapman underwent successful surgery for throat cancer in 2017. But last year, doctors told her the cancer had returned and she underwent emergency surgery in November to remove a tumor in her throat, reports Fox19.

In April, Beth was hospitalized after experiencing trouble breathing, according to a epochtimes.

“Beth Chapman has been rushed to a Hawaii hospital with serious breathing issues,” a source told Us Weekly on April 6, adding that Beth “hasn’t been feeling well of late and Dog is by her side. One thing everyone knows about Beth is that she’s a fighter.”

Chapman needed medical help after having breathing trouble. Sources say she is “home and doing fine,” and doctors said the breathing issues were related to her cancer diagnosis.

In March, Chapman was spotted in Beverly Hills with her husband, Duane Chapman, aka, Dog The Bounty Hunter, amid recovering from recent cancer treatments.

Dog and Beth were dining out at Avra in Beverly Hills Tuesday night, when a TMZ camera caught them on their way out.

Beth told TMZ that everyday is a struggle, but she’s hanging in there and choosing to stay positive, with the Dog by her side.

Beth points out the couple’s still doing what they’re known for too — catching criminals on TV. We broke the story … Dog and Beth were committed to filming their new reality series on WGN, “Dog’s Most Wanted,” while she received chemo for her throat cancer, and sounds like they’re gettin’ it done.
