KANSAS CITY, MO. (THECOUNT) — A disgruntled employee with a firearm is reportedly engaged in a standoff with police in northeast Kansas City, Missouri Tuesday morning, according to local reports.
Police tactical units responded to the mines in northeast Kansas City, Missouri, Tuesday morning on reports of a man armed with a gun.
It is unknown if any shot have been fired and no injuries have been reports at this time.
Just before 9 a.m., police set up a command post at the nearby Ameristar Casino, reports KSHB.
The standoff itself was located at the underground caves, 8200 NE Underground Dr.
