SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY. (THECOUNT) — The FBI and members of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security are currently raiding an Old Gick Road building that houses a business connected to former General Electric CEO, Ron Riggi.
Authorities arrived at Turbine Services Inc. at 9 a.m.
Sarah Ruane, a spokeswoman for the FBI in Albany, confirmed agents are at the scene “conducting court approved activity in connection with an ongoing investigation,” reports TimesUnion.
The FBI declined to say what they are searching for or if any arrests have been made.
Ronald Riggi and his brother, Vincent, were long-time executives at the firm. The company is located at, 41 Old Gick Rd, in Saratoga Springs, NY.
Ronald Riggi was chief executive when General Electric accused the company of violating a terms of a 13-year-old settlement in a trade-secrets case nearly two decades ago.
Ronald Riggi is married to local NYC socialite Michele Riggi.
