NEWARK, NJ. (THECOUNT) — All planes are flying in and out of Newark Airport have been grounded due to an “airport emergency,” airport officials tweeted on Saturday afternoon.
Images from the scene show emergency responders surrounding a plane that appears to be partially off the EWR runway.

Officials have not confirmed the nature of the emergency.
