Nashville Rapper Under Arrest After Arranging To Meet 9-Year-Old At Bowling Alley For Sex

NASHVILLE, TN. (THECOUNT) — Fledgling Nashville rapper, Darian T. Helm, has been identified as the suspect arrested after authorities say he used SnapChat to arrange a sexual encounter with a 9-year-old girl from Dickson.

“Darian,” who posted several Youtube videos showing off his rapping skills, is now charged with felony human trafficking for sexual servitude, solicitations of sexual exploitation of a minor and solicitation of a minor, according to FOX17News.

Dickson Police said the young girl’s phone revealed Helm had been sexting her and sending messages through SnapChat, trying to arrange a sexual encounter on June 9.

Helm drove to the parking lot of Thunder Alley Family Center in Dickson with intentions of meeting up and having sex with the 9-year-old. He was instead met by police officers.

Helm reportedly enticed the girl, saying he promised to bring ice cream to their meet-up. Police said they found a cup of vanilla ice cream in his cup holder.

Police said Helm admitted to sending the young girl videos and he was arrested.

He’s currently lodged in Dickson County Jail on a $180,000 bond.
