LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — Joel David White has been identified as the speeding Lamborghini driver that collided with a 2018 Jeep Cherokee on Burbank Boulevard near Hayvenhurst Avenue in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening.
White, 25, was ejected from his vehicle and killed following a deadly collision that also took the life of 19-year-old passenger, Luiza Vaagnovna Karakhanyan.
Authorities said the Lamborghini was driving at speeds above 100 mph at the time of the crash, and the impact of the collision caused it to lose control, reports KTLA.
The car slammed into trees before splitting into parts and bursting into flames, the release stated.
The Lamborghini was totaled in the crash. The mangled wreck was towed away on a flatbed truck overnight, but debris from the car could still be seen strewn about the side of the road the following morning, reports KTLA.
The Jeep driver received minor injuries and remained at the crash site. He was cooperating with investigators, according to LAPD.
Police are still looking into the crash, and anyone with information is asked to call Officer Garcia at 818-644-8117 or Crime Stoppers at 877-527-3247.

So the lesson for Luiza Vaagnovna Karakhanyan? Maybe an older black boyfriend with a Lamborghini wasn't the best idea... left Armenia chasing the American dream.
