WELLINGTON, NZ. (THECOUNT) — Beloved New Zealand actor, Pua Magasiva, was found dead Saturday morning at his Wellington, New Zealand home.

Police say, Magasiva, 38, was found deceased early on Saturday morning.

Officials confirmed there were no suspicious circumstances in the actor’s untimely death.

Magasiva is best known for his roles on the long-running New Zealand soap Shortland Street and his role as Red Wind Ranger, of movie franchise Power Rangers.

The popular actor has been on television screens for decades, playing nurse Vinnie Kruse-Miller on the soap since 1994.

The Samoa-born actor was raised in Wellington. It is understood family, including brother Robbie, who also an actor, have flown to Wellington amid the heartbreaking news, reports DailyNews.

The star had just celebrated his first wedding anniversary with wife Lizz Sadler, who were married in April last year, 18 months after meeting on Instagram.

Magasiva leaves behind a young daughter from his first marriage.
