HOUSTON, TX. (THECOUNT) — A Houston neighborhood received an unwanted invader after a 7-foot alligator was found blocking the street in the Clear Lake area of Houston, TX, on Wednesday morning.
The beast was discovered in the 13000 block of Garden Creek Way, and now police officers and animal control workers are attempting to capture the massive reptile.

Animal control is on the way to help remove the gator and put it back where it belongs, reports ABC13.
According to the Texas Gator Squad, you should expect alligators and other animals to be displaced as waterways swell.
If you encounter a gator, leave it alone. It should find its way home as water recedes.
