Philly Police Asking For Help Identifying 18-Month-Old Girl Abandon Near McPherson Square Branch

PHILADELPHIA, PA. (THECOUNT) — Philadelphia police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a toddler “dropped off” near E Street in Philadelphia, PA Saturday.

According to police, the 18-month-old girl was left “with a witness” at 7:30 a.m. Saturday near the 3100 block of E Street near McPherson Square Branch.

The mother asked the witness to watch the baby for a short time, but did not return. After 20 minutes the witness contacted police, reports Fox29.

The baby was safely transported to a local hospital with apparent facial injuries.

Police are now looking to identify the baby and her mother.

Anyone with possible information should contact police at 911 immediately.

  • Didn't the "witness" know the child and the mother?? There is no way in the world I am watching a stranger's child. This story is full of holes. Fix it.
This child has been through pure hel. Look at her eyes. There is nothing there. I hope they catch the so called mother and the "witness"quickly.
