ALEXANDER CITY, AL. (THECOUNT) — David George Goodling, of Alburn, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a fatal boating accident in Alexander City, Alabama Friday night.
Goodling, 65, was killed late Friday after a three-boat collision near the Ridge Marina on Lake Martin, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
Officials did not comment on the cause of the deadly wreck.
It is believed to have occurred before 11 p.m. Friday.
A second unknown person was also injured in the wreck and taken to a hospital. Buchanan and his staff called off the investigation into the cause of the crash before 1 a.m. Saturday and said they’d resume after daybreak, reports MontgomeryAdvertiser.
