DANVILLE, IL. (THECOUNT) — Terry Gaines has been identified as the Domino’s Pizza delivery man shot dead during what is believed to be an armed robbery in Danville Tuesday.
Police say, Gaines, 41, was delivering pizza when he was involved in a fatal shooting. Officials are searching for two men believed to be involved in the deadly incident that occurred about 10:20 pm, Tuesday, near E Madison St, & N Alexander St., in Danville.

Coroner Jane McFadden said Gaines was shot and was located unresponsive.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gaines had just made a delivery from Domino’s Pizza when witnesses saw him approached by two men who tried to rob him as he walked back to his car. There was reportedly a brief struggle before shots were fired, reports WCIA.
Both suspects are described as black males; one is about 6′, the other 5’9″, both with slender builds, last seen wearing black jackets or hooded sweatshirts.
