NICEVILLE, FL. (THECOUNT) — Kiyoko Blystone of Niceville, Florida, has been identified as the 92-year-old involved in a fatal collision involving a 12-year-old bicyclist Sunday.
Abraham Sitcer, also of Niceville, was operating a bicycle around 11:30 a.m. when he was struck by a Toyota Highlander driven by Blystone.
Police say, the boy riding his bicycle on Bluewater Blvd, when the SUV entered the same roundabout at the intersection with Southwind Drive.
As the SUV was leaving the roundabout, the front of the Toyota struck Abraham Sitcer of Niceville, who became trapped under the vehicle and was dragged for several feet until he became free, reports NWFDailyNews.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Alcohol was not factor in the fatal incident, according to officials.
