CORTLANDT MANOR, NY. (THECOUNT) — Carlos M. Diaz, of Peekskill, NY, has been identified as the tree trimmer killed after falling from a tree and onto power lines below.
Diaz, 56, died Sunday afternoon after falling from a tree onto the live wires, state police said.
The victim was trimming a tree for a Gallows Hill Road homeowner around 12 p.m., when for unknown reasons, he fell out of a tree and came into contact with electrified wires.
Diaz was pronounced dead at the scene by the Westchester Medical Examiner’s office, reports Lohud.
