CHEROKEE COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Jon David Yeager has been identified as the Stryker Creek Hydroelectric power plant worker electrocuted on Tuesday.
Yeager, 56, was killed after being electrocuted at the Jacksonville, Texas, Luminant owned power plant Tuesday.
Meranda Cohn, spokesperson for Vistra Energy/LUMINANT, released a statement Tuesday:
“Words cannot convey the grief we feel over the loss of our friend, coworker, and team member. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and all those who loved him,” source.
The plant is located at Farm to Market Rd 347, in Jacksonville, TX.
The OSHA is investigating the fatality.
