PARIS, FR. (THECOUNT) — Lesley Rowan, from Alexandria in West Dunbartonshire, claims she saw the silhouette of Jesus in the flames which raged at the iconic Notre-Dame cathedral in Paris.
Rowan, 38, says Jesus made an appearance during a blaze at the historic 850-year-old building which was devastated by the inferno which broke out in the French capital shortly after 7pm local time on Monday evening.
Rowan believes she can see the outline of the son of God in one of the pictures.
“When I looked at this photo last night, I was really astounded by what I saw,” Rowan said. “When I look at it I see a silhouette of Jesus. I really see a vivid image. I shared it and asked for people’s opinions – even my brother in Australia said it looks like Jesus.”
“I feel like it will bring comfort to people in Paris and all over the world at this sad time,” Rowan concluded.
Lesley’s Facebook and Instagram posts featuring the photo was inundated with friends and family who agreed the outline resembled that of Jesus, reports DailyRecord.
