NELSON COUNTY, VA. (THECOUNT) — The motorcyclist killed Tuesday in a crash along the Blue Ridge Parkway, in Fincastle, Virginia, has been identified as Dajuan Morrison, according to the National Park Service.
Morrison, 41, was operating a motorcycle along with three other riders when the fatal crash occurred.
Morrison collided with another rider who had lost control in a curve and dropped his bike.
Morrison was thrown from his bike causing him to strike a guardrail.
He was pronounced dead on scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
Virginia State Police are investigating, and further details are expected.
According to social media Morrison worked at Costco and was the father to two girls.
