OLMSTED FALLS, OH. (THECOUNT) — The Cuyahoga County Board of Health is investigating school field trips to Washington D.C. following reports of multiple students from two school districts have falling ill.
The Olmsted Falls School District sent a letter home to parents of students who attended a D.C. field trip from April 3 to 5. In the letter, officials asked parents to fill out a Google form regarding whether or not the children got sick on the trip, sometime after, or not at all.

The questionnaire also seeks to identify specific food the students may have eaten while on the trip.
Eleventh-grade students from Midview High School in Lorain County also attended Washington D.C. on the same dates, and eight students reported being ill, according to News5Cleveland.
According to health officials, interviews are being conducted Tuesday at Olmsted Falls Middle School in hopes of finding out what caused the illness.
