WISCONSIN DELLS, WI. (THECOUNT) — A criminal complaint filed Tuesday states Wisconsin Dells man Fuad Pashayev, stabbed his wife Tetiana, then stayed with her body, along with the couple’s toddler, in the home for days before anyone knew she was dead.

Pashayev, 31, is charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide and Felony Bail Jumping. The complaint states he later told officers that on Saturday, March 30, Tetiana informed him she didn’t want to live with him anymore and said he would go to jail if he tried anything, according to the complaint.

Pashayev then stabbed Tetiana to death. Afterward, Pashayev told officers he lay her body on the bed and stayed in the house with her body for a couple of days before eventually taking their child to a babysitter.

The complaint states an officer conducted a welfare check on April 4 and found Huzhva dead in their home. Later that day, Pashayev called the Wisconsin Dells Police Department and told them he was on his way. According to the complaint, Pashayev admitted he killed his wife. He also allegedly admitted he had been living at home since his release from jail, even though he was ordered not to have contact with Huzhva or their child because of a pending domestic abuse charge, reports WKOW.

Pashayeva told officers he got a knife and grabbed his wife by the robe. She tried to take the knife and cut her hand.
