NEW JASPER TOWNSHIP, OH. (THECOUNT) — Michael D. Haller, of Yellow Springs, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in Fayette County on Wednesday.
“Mike” Haller, 63, was operating a Honda motorcycle east on Palmer Road, east of the Harmony Road intersection when around 2:25 p.m. after crossing a culvert, his motorcycle went left of center, traveled off the roadway and struck a utility pole, according to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office.
Haller was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The Sabina Fire Department and Fayette County Life Squad also responded to the scene.
The sheriff’s office crash reconstruction response team is investigating the crash, reports WHIO.
