LAS VEGAS, NV. (THECOUNT) — Thomas Kirk Bouchard has been identified as the California psychiatrist found dead in the trunk of a vehicle parked in a desert area of Las Vegas, Nevada March 7.
Police say, Bouchard, 71, from Salinas, California, was the victim of a homicide and died from blunt force injuries to his head.
His body was discovered March 7 in the trunk of an abandoned car on State Route 147, near mile marker 14, reports LasVegasNow.
Police have not made any arrest in this case.
Police say a man driving through the area with his children noticed a parked vehicle with a broken window and called police.
The investigation is ongoing.
No suspects or suspect descriptions were provided.
