OK Teen Michael Elijah Walker Arrested After Parents Found Shot Dead In Edmond Home

EDMOND, OK. (THECOUNT) — Michael Elijah Walker has been identified as the Edmond, Oklahoma teen accused of murdering both his parents Monday.

Authorities say, Walker, 19, is facing murder charges after he allegedly shot and killed his parents, 50-year-old Michael Logan Walker and 44-year-old Rachel May Walker, inside the family’s home.

Police responded after 2:30 a.m. on Monday, on a call of shots fired inside at a home near E Covell Rd. and N Bryant Ave, in Edmond.

Upon arrival, Michael Elijah Walker exited the house peacefully. Once inside, officers made the grisly discovery of two dead adults.

Sgt. James Hamm, with the Edmond Police Department, told News4 that a younger child called 911 after hearing the gunshots.

Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene of multiple gunshot wounds.

The son will likely face two counts of first-degree murder, said investigators.
