3 Shot One Dead Following Friday Night Argument Between Tables At Melbourne Pavilion Boxing Match

MELBOURNE, AU. (THECOUNT) — Three men have been shot, one fatally, after a night out at a Melbourne boxing tournament turned violent Friday, DailyMail is reporting.

Three victims, described as males in their 20s or 30s, were shot following a verbal altercation between two tables, reports say.

Melbourne police descended on venue 10pm Friday after three victims were shot inside the business, located at 135-157 Racecourse Rd, in Kensington VIC 3031, Australia.

The three victims were “known to police,” according to officials.

The unknown gunmen remain on the loose and authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in locating them.

A motive for the shooting is yet to be established, though ringside witnesses said families on two tables began shouting at each other from across the room, DailyMail reports.

The verbal Altercation escalated into ‘shots fired everywhere’ as people scurried under tables and ran for their lives.

Three men were shot, with one killed. The victims were believed to be have been targeted.

Anyone with possible information should contact police immediately.
