LANCASTER COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — David Burton, from Felton Borough, PA, has been identified as the victim killed after sustaining injuries in an industrial accident Thursday at the Kunzler & Company, Inc., in Lancaster.
Burton, 55, was reportedly working as an electric forklift operator in a dry storage area of the meat facility when he became pinned under the machine around 11 a.m.
Two employees found Burton and pulled the machinery off of him. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died, reported Local21News.
Burton was an independent contractor, not an employee of Kunzler employee, reports say.
Kunzler & Company, Inc, is located on Manor Street, in Lancaster, PA.
