ASHTABULA COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Alison Holmgren, an active trooper with the Ashtabula Patrol Post, in Ashtabula County, Ohio, passed away following the birth of her second child.
Holmgren, 38, passed away on Feb. 15, following complications with childbirth, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol Retirees.
The website said Holmgren’s daughter was born healthy and has no issues, according to reporting by News10.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
