ATHENS, AL. (THECOUNT) — Brian Siniard, of Athens, Alabama, has been identified as the victim in a two-vehicle wreck Sunday evening.
Siniard, 47, was operating a vehicle on US-31 near Hobbs St E, when he drove in the path of a pickup truck around 9:30 p.m Sunday.
Siniard was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
The three people in the pickup truck at the time of the wreck were taken to Athens Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, reported WAAYTV.
The investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with possible information on the crash is asked to contact police at 911.
