LOS ANGELES, CA. (THECOUNT) — Nationally syndicated radio talk show host, Tammy Bruce, is actually an actress, known for such blockbusters as “2081,” “The Undefeated” and “Strange Inheritance.”

Once a classical liberal, Bruce, 54, is now an outspoken independent conservative, reports IMDB.

Bruce is a popular Fox News contributor who also fills in for The Angle host, Laura Ingraham.

She has a bachelor’s degree in Political Science USC.

She is of Italian descent.

Bruce served as the president of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Organization of Women from 1990 to 1996.

She is openly gay. She was once a married woman. She was married to fellow actor, Bill Bixby, AKA, “The Hulk.”

When she was 19, Bruce was personal secretary to and in a relationship with actress Brenda Benet, who was recently divorced, after ten years of marriage, from actor Bill Bixby. Benet had been distraught over the death of her and Bixby’s six-year-old son, who had recently died from a sudden throat infection. Bruce called the police on April 7, 1982, after she had entered the home she shared with Benet in Mandeville Canyon in west Los Angeles and found the bathroom door locked. Police came and broke down the door to find Benet dead from a self-inflicted .38 caliber gunshot wound to the head.

Bruce went on to divorce Bixby after having an affair with soap star, Brenda Benet. She later shared a home with Benet.

In the photo below, Bixby is seen with Benet.

Two weeks later, Brenda Benet went on to commit suicide in the same home, reports networthbio.
