ATLANTA, GA. (THECOUNT) — Quantavious Thomas, aka, rapper, Young Nudy, was arrested in the same incident that caused ICE to arrest fellow rapper, (and cousin,) 21 Savage on Sunday.
Savage was arrested by ICE agents who claim the rapper is actually from the United Kingdom and overstayed his visa.
Now, it was revealed that Young Nudy was arrested as well.
The rapper, who 21 Savage refers to as his cousin, was arrested on Sunday morning and taken to the DeKalb County jail. He was booked charges that are unrelated to 21’s ICE situation. Young Nudy was reportedly booked for gang charges and aggravated assault.
A spokeswoman from the DeKalb County Sheriff’s office issued a statement on Young Nudy’s arrest, saying bond has not been set for the rapper as of now.
Some folks on social media wondered out loud if police had called for a war on rap artists.
