MEMPHIS, TN. (THECOUNT) — Issacca Powell has been identified as the Memphis man killed in an early Monday morning shooting in Whitehaven, according to police.
A female gravely injured in the incident has been identified by family members as 32-year-old mother of three, Sierra Stornes.
Doctors informed family that Stornes was showing no brain activity and was placed on life support. She was allegedly shot in the head multiple times, according to a family member, reports Fox13Memphis.
Police say they have arrested 38-year-old Calvin Wilkins (pictured above) and charged him with first-degree murder following the deadly double shooting.
The shooting occurred after 1 a.m. in the 1200 block of Favell Drive. Investigators were on the scene for nearly nine hours.
Stornes was the subject of a CityWatch alert for a missing and endangered adult Monday morning. Details surrounding her disappearance were alarming.
Powell was a father of seven.
Wilkins is being charged with first-degree murder, criminal attempt first-degree murder, employment of a firearm during a dangerous felony, possession of a controlled substance and convicted felon in possession of a handgun.
