ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — James Haines has been identified as the victim killed in a Wednesday EB I-70 crash in St. Charles County, Missouri.
Haines, 28, was operating a vehicle traveling on Interstate 70 after 5:30 a.m. in O’Fallon early Wednesday morning when he experienced mechanical issues and lost control, according to officials.
Haines exited his lane and collided with Toyota Sienna causing the crash.
Both cars caught fire after the crash and Haines’ car went off the road and crashed into a concrete median barrier, reports KSDK.
The condition of the other driver was not provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
