FROEDTERT, WI. (THECOUNT) — Nick Beaudin, the husband of Carlie Beaudin, the Froedtert nurse practitioner found frozen and trapped under her car in a parking garage Friday, is speaking out about the ordeal.
Carlie, 33, a nurse in the Department of Medicine – Division of Hematology and Oncology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and Froedtert Hospital, was found trapped beneath her car, bleeding and frozen in a parking garage of the hospital about 3:43 a.m. She was taken to Froedtert, where she died a short time later, reports JSonline.

Nick Beaudin told TMJ4 Sunday that he met Carlie in community theater after high school.
“I would love seeing her engaged with someone across a room. Carlie had a real spectacular ability of getting to know people,” Beaudin said.
“You want revenge, but what does that do? And you want anger, but what does that do?” Nick said.
After Carlie didn’t come home Thursday night, Nick assumed it was just another late night of work.
“I went to bed, and then my dog woke me up at about 4 in the morning because he never slept that well when we both weren’t there. And that’s when the phone calls started,” Nick said.
Soon after finding out the terrible news, he was tasked with telling her family and friends.
“That was absolutely the worst phone call that I had to make,” Nick said.
Investigators have taken a suspect into custody in connection with Carlie’s death.
Investigators are expected to release more information this week on the circumstances surround Carlie’s death.
