LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Tommy Wade Goss has been identified as the pedestrian killed after being struck by a tractor trailer in Lexington, South Carolina, on Tuesday morning, reports WACH.
According to officials, Goss, 47, died after being hit by a semi-tractor trailer after 12 a.m. in the 4200 block of U.S. 178 in Leesville Tuesday morning, according to the Lexington County Coroner’s Office.
Goss was pronounced dead at the scene of multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the violent crash.
The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
No one was cited in the crash.
The SCHP continues to investigate the incident.
