MS Sisters 12, 14, Arrested In Brutal Murder Of Magnolia Mother Over Phones Taken Away As Punishment

MAGNOLIA, MS. (THECOUNT) — Amariyona Hall and her sister, who has not been named, are accused of killing their mother, 32-year-old Ericka Hall, who was found dead the front yard of her Magnolia, Mississippi, home suffering from fatal stab and gunshot injuries, according to authorities.

Fourteen-year-old Amariyona Hall has been charged as an adult with the murder of her mother, who police say was found around 11:30 p.m. Friday suffering from several stab wounds and one gunshot wound from what investigators said was a small-caliber handgun, the Pike County Sheriff’s Department said.

Hall was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead on stab and gunshot injuries.

The 12-year-old sister, Ajaviyona Isaac, is also in custody in youth court.

The girls reportedly attempted to run their mother over with the family car earlier in the week, according to the Enterprise-Journal newspaper. source

Neighbors said Hall was killed days after she took away her daughters’ cellphones.

A person identifying themselves as “TUNA,” posted the following message on Facebook regarding the incident:

Amariyona Hall is being held on a $150,000 bond at the Pike County Jail.
