CA Woman Yu Liu Hunt ID’d As Victim In Thursday Fatal San Luis Obispo Two-Vehicle Crash

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA. (THECOUNT) — California woman, Yu Liu Hunt, has been identified as the victim of a fatal two-vehicle crash in San Luis Obispo, California, on Thursday morning.

Hunt, 52, was operating a Honda on Los Osos Valley Road east of Foothill Boulevard Thursday morning at about 7:20 a.m., when for unknown reasons, she crossed centerlines and drove into oncoming traffic, crashing head-on with a 2008 Dodge sedan.

The Dodge driver was later identified as Jeffrey Lewis Raidor, 42, of San Luis Obispo, the CHP said in a report.

Hunt, of San Luis Obispo, was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of multiple blunt force trauma injuries suffered in the crash.

Raidor was also transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.

The driver ahead of Raidor saw Hunt’s Honda and swerved out of the way, but Raidor wasn’t able to see the car until it was right in front of him, the CHP said. Raidor, whose car was traveling at around 50 mph, was able to apply his brakes as the cars collided, the CHP said. He was seriously injured in the crash. source
