WEST VALLEY CITY, UT. (THECOUNT) — Tequila Garcia has been identified as the Utah woman killed after being struck by at least one vehicle while in front of her home in West Valley City early Sunday morning.
Garcia, 36, was found by a roommate lying in the street in front of her home suffering from blunt force injuries.
Officers responded to reports of an individual down at a home, in the area of 2855 West 3785 South near Market St. Upon arrival, officials found a 36-year-old woman suffering from extremely serious injuries, according to West Valley City Police.
Arriving medical personnel was unsuccessful in their attempts to revive Garcia and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say there were reports of an altercation at the residence between the people outside in the cars and someone inside the home shortly before the deadly incident occurred.
It is possible that more than one vehicles struck the victim as they fled the scene. source
