DEKALB, MO. (THECOUNT) — Cherri Edwards, of Troy, Kansas, has been identified as the woman killed in an accident involving a tractor-trailer Monday morning.
Edwards, 51, was traveling west in a Chevrolet Impala on Route P near Clarksdale around 11:15 a.m. when the fatal crash occurred.
A tractor-trailer was traveling northbound on MO-31 when the Impala, for unknown reasons, entered onto MO-31 without yielding.
Edwards’ vehicle was broadsided by the tractor-trailer.
She was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with th eviolent crash.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not hurt. source
No one was cited in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
