LOUISVILLE, KY. (THECOUNT) — Ralph Jeffries III has been identified as the victim found suffering from at least one gunshot wound in Louisville Friday.

Jeffries, 26, died following a triple shooting that happened late Friday night near Hikes Point Christian Church in the Bon Air neighborhood of Louisville on Friday.

Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 3600 block of Stanton Boulevard and Noe Way, in Louisville around 8:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, police discovered two men inside a vehicle at the scene with gunshot wounds, according to LMPD spokesperson Alicia Smiley.

Authorities say shots were fired at the victims by someone else in another vehicle. There’s no info on a suspect nor the vehicle where the shots came from.

Police say Jeffries and another victim were transported to area hospitals.

Jeffries was admitted in “serious condition” and later pronounced dead of gunshot wounds.

There have been no arrests and police do not named any suspects.
