EARLY COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Dominique Lashay Lindsey and Freddie Lee Bronner, have been identified as the victims killed in a head-on collision in Early County, Tuesday, according to authorities.
Bronner, 26, was operating a Ford Mustang, east on Georgia Highway 62, in Blakely, Early County, when he entered a curve and crossed centerlines.
Lindsey, 20, driving a Ford Fusion, was travelling in the opposite direction and was struck head-on about 7 a.m Tuesday.
Both Bronner and Lindsey were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the violent collision.
A passenger in Lindsey’s car was transported to a hospital, with unknown injuries.
State troopers said that Bronner failed to maintain his lane, and traveled into the westbound lane of the highway, and hit Lindsey’s car head-on. source
