SANTA ANA, CA. (THECOUNT) — Police are seeking a woman who pushed, punched and choked a Santa Ana, CA, McDonald’s manager, because he forgot to place ketchup packets in her to-go order.
Police in Santa Ana, California, say the assault took place around 11 p.m. on Oct. 27 when a female drive-thru customer entered the restaurant through an after-hours employee door complaining that the condiment had been omitted from her drive-thru order.
Video released by police shows the enraged woman attacking the manager after he failed to produce ketchup packets in a timely manner and instead informed the woman that “she could not be in the building.”
The footage shows other employees trying to help before a man, who police believe was with the suspect, ran into the restaurant and pulled the woman off the manager. The pair left. source
The manager is expected to make a full recovery.
