WEST PALM BEACH, FL. (THECOUNT) — Joey Demeritus Canady has been identified as the victim shot and killed while attending a block party in West Palm Beach, FL, Saturday.

Another man went to a hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound, apparently sustained during the block party gunfire. Authorities have not publicly identified that man.

A 23-year-old West Palm Beach-area man identified as, Mark Andrew Wright, was also fatally shot in West Plan Beach Saturday.
Wright was transported to a local hospital early Saturday where he was later pronounced dead, WPB officials said.
A private vehicle transported Wright to a hospital about 3:30 a.m., authorities said.
