OSCEOLA COUNTY, FL. (THECOUNT) — A veteran’s stolen service dog has been recovered, hours after he tragically passed away in Kissimmee, Florida, Thursday. Two women, caught on video stealing the animal, have been placed under arrest in Osceola County. Joseph Hanson was 67.
Authorities said detectives from Osceola County, Lake County and the Winter Garden Police Department identified Jennifer Gotschall and Monique Cosser on Wednesday.
Surveillance video captured the moment the Florida women stole a 21-year-old service dog from a 67-year-old Vietnam veteran on Sunday, authorities said.
Deputies said the veteran was at an outdoor shopping mall with his two service dogs when a woman started an argument with him. During the altercation, another woman came up behind him and unleashed one of the animals.
The man, who has Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, said he never saw the second woman and didn’t know what happened to his dog. But surveillance video captured the incident, according to the sheriff’s office. source
Authorities said the Pomeranian is in good health and has been recovered. Joseph was sadly never reunited with his beloved service dog, passing away hours prior to her recovery.
It is unclear if any charges will be filed in the case.

Jennifer Gotschall should be charge with murder.
I think he died because he did not have his dog, this is murder!
